What parent doesn’t love the joy of dressing their sweet little one up in cute little baby onesies, jumpers, t-shirts and baby grows? Clothes for babies are so adorable and they can be a lot of fun. The right outfit can even be a conversation starter when you bring your baby to nursery or around to meet with friends.
If you are looking for a cute and memorable outfit for your special little bundle of joy, why not consider this Superman baby grow? This pretty blue baby grow is emblazoned with the Superman logo, an officially licensed logo of DC Comics. Unlike cheaper imitations, this is the authentic logo and it will certainly make a great first impression. Even if your baby is of earthly origin, they will still suit this adorable superbaby outfit.
Your baby superhero will be very comfortable in this cute baby grow, as it is made from luxurious soft cotton. The cotton will be gentle, warm and comfortable on their sensitive skin – unlike other lower quality fabrics that can be itchy and can cause irritation. It is loose and comfortable, guaranteed to keep them warm and cosy even when they are going for walks in the pram. This baby grow would make a great baby gift, especially for a baby in a family with a lot of comic book and action film fans.
If you are attending a fancy dress party, this baby grow is also a fun idea. You and your partner could also dress up as superheroes, so that the entire family’s fancy dress costumes are co-ordinated.
Your Baby’s Super Powers
It is fitting that your baby should wear a Superman baby grow, as they certainly have their own superpowers. These powers include a superhuman ability to make a mess whenever your back is turned and an ability to cry at supersonic volume. Your baby is able to leap over Lego buildings in a single bound and although they might not be faster than a speeding bullet – it certainly seems like it when they let go of your hand at the park and start running toward the playground! It seems difficult sometimes to keep up with your little superhero – after all you are only a mere mortal!
Your little one also has the power to melt the hearts of everyone who looks at them with their cuteness – which is a power that they use very frequently! They might look like just a mild mannered baby, but you know that they are truly super and that they can do anything.
So why not treat your little one to an adorable baby grow that will reflect just how super they are?
Before you had a baby, you usually accessorised with a cute purse or even a shiny leather clutch. However, once you have had your first little one you will become used to carrying around the essential mum accessory – the baby changing bag. This bag is filled with all of the important items that you need to care for your baby wherever you go, including nappies, wipes, snacks, extra clothes, a spare dummy and much more.
Your baby changing bag needs to be big enough to hold all of your important baby supplies, but you also don’t want it to be heavy or bulky. You don’t want it to look clunky or boring either, because even though you are a mum you still want to be chic and fashionable.
If you are looking for a practical and fashionable baby changing bag, look no further than the gorgeous collection of bags at Nappyhead.co.uk. They have a chic selection of bags that will not only hold all of the baby supplies that you need, but will also look stylish and hip.
What to Consider When Choosing a Baby Changing Bag
What should you keep in mind when you are choosing a baby changing bag? First of all, you should think about how many little pockets you will need in order to store your baby accessories. Some bags have a number of pockets on the inside and outside and others have a more streamlined design with very few pockets.
You should also think about what type of fabric you want your bag to be made of. Usually baby changing bags are made from fabric that is easy to clean if any spills occur. This could be faux leather, vinyl or even cotton – which can be washed.
Another consideration is to think about your personal style. Are you a funky and stylish person, or do you have more of a retro vibe? Do you usually wear clothes and accessories that are sleek and tough looking – such as a black leather satchel, or do you like bags that are sweet and girly with pink flowers? Choosing a bag that suits your personal style will ensure that it fits in with the rest of your wardrobe.
Finally, another important aspect to consider is whether or not the bag is made with ethical fabrics that are good for the environment. Nappy head offers a range of bags in organic cotton, which means that they are good for the earth and guilt-free – so that you can protect the environment for your children and your future grandchildren!
Take the time to choose the right baby changing bag, as it will be an accessory that you use every day until your little one is potty trained!
When it comes to baby names, the trends change with the times much in the same way as fashions. Names that were popular during one decade will seem outdated and old fashioned in another decade, when babies have a new range of different names.
For example, if you were born in the 1930s it was likely that you would have been called William, Robert, John, Ronald, Margaret, Shirley or Dorothy. However, babies born in the 50s were often called Donna, Paul, Peter, David, Karen and Michelle. Some names will go out of fashion and will not be used for many years. For example, when is the last time you met someone named Ethel or Marge under the age of 50? On the other hand, some names have staying power and will be used decade after decade, such as James or William.
What Names are Popular Now?
According to the Office for National Statistics, the most popular baby names over the last year in England and Wales have been Harry and Amelia. These names are taking the top spot for the second year in a row, proving that primary schools will have to distinguish between all of the little Harrys and Amelias by using their surnames in a few years. See our infographic for more.
The name Riley became a new addition to the top ten list of popular names, which is an Irish name that means “courageous”. It can be used as either a girl’s name or a boy’s name. Other girls names in the top ten included Isla and Mia, which replaced Ruby and Grace from last year. For boys born in London, the most popular first name is Muhammad. A name that has seen a sudden increase in popularity is Bobby, as it has risen 19 places in the top 100 list to number 57.
In both Scotland and Northern Ireland, the most popular name for girls was Sophie and for boys it was Jack. There were also some new entries in the top 100 boys names for Wales and England, which included Sonny, Hugo, Seth, Elliot, Theodore, Ellis and Rory. These new names replaced some of the names which were popular the year before, such as John, Jackson, Ashton, Hayden, Ben, Reece and Joel.
There were a few new names that also made the top 100 list for girls. They included Tilly, Darcey, Ivy, Mollie, Violet and Sara. The names that were pushed off the list to make room for these new names include Nicole, Rebecca and Kayla.
There were more than 28,000 different boy’s names and 36,000 different girl’s names registered in the UK in the year 2012. The names are all compiled by the Office for National Statistics and they are a great way to see the trends for names over the years. There were 729,674 births over the year in England and Wales and 13% of these babies were given names from the top 10 list. Got the name sorted? UK baby clothing company Nappy Head isn’t just concerned with offering fun and funky alternative baby clothing and t-shirts – they are also passionate about human rights. Did you know about the things that Nappy Head does to promote human rights and ensure that their clothing is made from ethical supplies? They are dedicated to fighting against sweatshop labour and ensuring that their clothing is free of injustice.
Fighting Against Sweatshop Labour
Some clothing companies contribute to the gross social injustice associated with sweatshop labour. In a sweatshop, workers will often work long hours for very low pay, sometimes even under illegal and unsafe conditions. Child labour laws are sometimes violated and hazardous materials might be used. Many employees within sweatshops don’t have a way to protect themselves.
The owners of Nappy Head clothing are ethically opposed to the violations of human rights that often happen in sweatshops, so they have spent a lot of time finding ethical factories and suppliers. You can rest assured that when you purchase an item of Nappy Head clothing, your purchase will not contribute to the practice of sweatshop labour.
Approved by the Fair Wear Foundation
Nappy Head sources their babywear from factories that are approved by the “Fair Wear Foundation”. This is an organisation that promotes fair labour conditions in clothing manufacturing facilities all over the world. In order for a manufacturing facility to meet the requirements of the “Fair Wear Foundation” it must not discriminate against workers, it must pay a living wage and it must not use forced labour. There must be healthy and safe working conditions and legal contracts and there must also be no child labour. The Fair Wear Foundation is governed by NGOs, labour unions and business associations. It has over 50 member companies from all over Europe and it is active in many countries that produce a lot of the world’s textiles including India, China, Turkey and Bangladesh.
The baby clothes sold by Nappy Head are made in factories which adhere to the code of practice of the Fair Wear Foundation. They are committed to monitoring these facilities. In addition to this, all Nappy Head baby clothing is labelled with the country of origin when it comes to the cotton that is used, ensuring that this cotton is sourced from farms with ethical practices.
When it comes to selling fun and funky baby clothing, it is not just about making a profit. At Nappy Head, ethics and human rights are important. The choices that they make when it comes to their ethical policy are based on a desire to support those human rights and make the world a better place for our children and our grandchildren.
Cuski baby comforters are high quality products that are designed specifically with the needs of our little ones in mind. These baby comforters were designed to provide parents with a natural, stylish and compact alternative to bulky blankets or dummies. They are simple in design, yet very effective for comforting small children.
What are some of the advantages to using Cuski baby comforters, compared to using a baby blanket or a dummy? Here are some of the best features of these blankets.
Mom and Dad’s Comforting Scent
The cuski baby comforter is designed to absorb scent, so before you gift it to your baby you can sleep with it for a night or two until it holds your distinct scent. You can even keep it inside your clothing close to your skin so that it will absorb your aroma.
Then, when you give the comforter to your baby they will be able to smell the comforting aroma of mummy and daddy. This reassuring scent will help to calm them down and make them feel secure and loved.
Tested and Approved
The Cuski baby comforter has been fully tested and approved, ensuring that it meets all International, UK and European safety standards. It is not a square piece of fabric, but rather a circular shape with arms and legs. This ensures that baby will not get trapped or suffocated, making it a much safer choice than putting a blanket in the crib. Also, the round shape of the head is the first shape that a baby will familiarise itself with and it is easy for their little hands to discover and hold.
Friendly to the Environment
Another advantage of using a Cuski baby comforter is that it is made from bamboo yarn, which has wonderful properties and is a very sustainable choice for the environment. This type of yarn is eco-friendly, anti-bacterial, ultra absorbent and it grows organically without any need for fertilisers or harsh chemicals.
Also, when bamboo is growing it absorbs around 35% more oxygen than normal trees. This means that it will help to reduce the greenhouse gasses in our environment and improve our ecosystem.
Can Replace a Dummy
Your baby carries out a sucking motion to calm themselves down, as it replicates the comforting sensation of breast feeding. Many parents will use a dummy (also known as a pacifier) to comfort their baby and help them sleep.
However, some parents find that as the baby grows into a toddler it can become difficult for them to separate from the dummy. This can sometimes even cause speech difficulties and even malformed teeth. A cuski baby comforter can be a great sleeping aid for babies instead of a dummy, because it will help to soothe baby without causing any speech or dental problems.
These are just a few of the advantages of using Cuski baby comforters, so why not treat your little angel to this comforting and soothing treat?

Following all the fuss around the recent arrival of a new Royal and the huge discussions about the name that Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would select for their son we have produced this Infographic on the most popular names for boys and girls from the recently released data from the ONS on baby names in England and Wales for 2012.
Harry was still one of the most popular for boys, but will the new arrival topple Prince Harry from his position, we will just have to wait and see.

It’s hard to think of a time when the t-shirt wasn’t popular. In modern day even times the trendiest newborns can be seen donning the cutest t-shirts. Everyone has at least a small selection of T’s in their wardrobe. They are versatile, comfortable and come in so many different colours, patterns and prints. The t-shirt is often not really celebrated but always appreciated. However, 2013 is the year of the t-shirt, why? Because it turns 100 years old!
The History of Cool T-Shirts
The T-shirt as we recognise them today first came into existence in 1913 when it was made part of the uniform for the U.S Navy. The Army quickly took on the t-shirt as part of their uniform too and soon most blue collar workers were also using the t-shirt as their working clothes. It was so easy to wear and practical it made an obvious choice.
The t-shirt was seen as uniform, work wear that was practical but not considered to be stylish or fashionable. However, it got it’s big break in the fashion world thanks to Hollywood, with Marlon Brandon being the man behind the rise in fame for the simple T. After he wore the T-shirt in ‘A Street Car Named Desire’ in 1951 the world went mad for the style, with teenagers and the coolest kids around making sure they were seen in wearing the shirts.
After James Dean wore a t-shirt in his role in ‘Rebel Without a Cause’ the t-shirt was cemented in fashion and it has been around ever since. After James Dean adopted the style the price of the shirts rose and it is thought that around $180 billion worth of shirts were sold.
How Many T-Shirts Do You Have?
T-shirts in 2013 are still considered cool, in fact in recent years the rise I witty t-shirts has been boosted by shows such as ‘The Big Bang Theory’ thanks to the funny characters Sheldon and Leonard popularising nerdy t-shirts. If you were to look in your wardrobe and the drawers of your family you probably have enough to fill a small retail store.
A T-Shirt for Everyone
The great thing about T-shirts is the fact that they are affordable fashion pieces that can be worn by all the family. You can find funny tops for day with witty messages that complement their personalities. Mum has t-shirts too, she can wear funny T-shirts or opt for a casual style, and you can even dress them up with some skinny jeans, sky high heels and an accessory or two.
In the last couple of years the choice of T-shirts for younger children and even new born babies has increased. They are practical as they can be washed quickly and not lose their shape. To help dressing new-borns and fidgeting toddlers the simple T-shirt has been adapted with poppers on the neck making it easy to dress baby in a hurry. The coolest kids are still the one who knows how to rock a T, regardless of their age!
